MY BUDDY

I've never seen a dog that sheds
the way my Buddy does.
brush and brush and brush and brush
and get fuzz and fuzz and fuzz.

If I wait a day or two
before I think to groom,
after I am finished, I almost
wear out the broom.

He is quite a busy doggie
playing ball and such.
I wonder where he finds the time
for his hair to grow so much.

It isn't only summer time
when he sheds off his hair.
It's all year long, consistently...
I'm amazed some's left to wear!
